29 May, 2008 : - - Hossegor -- The surfers Jairo P?rez and Nataly Bernold, both of Jaco, advanced yesterday in the Junior male and female categories at the 2008 Quiksilver International Surfing Association (ISA) World Junior Surfing Championship (WJSC) in Hossegor, France. They are now two of three Hispanics remaining in the WJSC primary rounds.

29 May, 2008 : - - The Rip Curl New Zealand Junior Surfing Team surfed to several excellent results on day five of the 2008 Quiksilver ISA World Junior Championships overnight. Four surfers advanced through their qualifying round heats to be sitting amongst the top 12 surfers in their respective divisions.

29 May, 2008 : - - Plenty of action in the water for members of the Australian Junior Surfing team at the 2008 Quiksilver ISA World Junior Surfing Championships overnight. All 12 team members were in action today with Owen Wright continuing his winning form in the under 18 boys with the highest score of the day, an 18.6 in his round three heat, almost 5 points ahead of second placed surfer Chad de Toit from South Africa.
