Point Panic

Point panic is a nice left and right surf break located just to the West of the Kewalo Basin boat channel. Body boarders get priority on this break, but if there are none in the water, you'll see a few surfers out there. The bodyboarders will normally take over the rights while the surfers take the lefts.

The name comes from the rock jetty that you'll slam into if you don't bail at the right time. Its like a game of chicken between you and the rocks, except the rocks never get out of your way.

From Ala Mauna Blvd., head south on Ahui St. which will dead end at the free parking lot.

Summer 3-7' S swell and little to no wind

Crowd Factor:
Strong body boarder crowd on weekends. Other times bare.

Longboard on smaller days, short board on bigger days
